CSI's Experience Is Your Competitive Advantage

EXPERTISE IS ACCUMULATED EXPERIENCE

Why Deep Human Knowledge Remains Essential in Regulatory Science

In regulatory science, the difference between a smooth product registration and a costly delay often comes down to one thing: the depth of experience guiding your strategy.

At Compliance Services International Consultants, LLC (CSI), we believe expertise is not just a credential; it is accumulated experience. And few professionals illustrate that better than CSI Senior Science Fellow Larry Brewer.

CSI's Experience Is Your Competitive Advantage

Larry Brewer

Senior Science Fellow

Oregon

With more than 40 years of working alongside the agricultural chemical industry and the U.S. EPA, Larry brings a depth of knowledge that is both rare and practical:

✔ Conducted EPA-sponsored avian ecotoxicology field research in the mid-1980s, before EPA Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) even existed, with findings published in Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (1988)

✔ Served as an invited participant in EPA’s ECOFRAM Terrestrial Work Group (1997–1999), contributing to the risk assessment frameworks still used across North America today

✔ Authored field studies now embedded in EPA’s active TREX model for estimating avian and mammalian dietary pesticide exposure

✔ Attended 36 SETAC North America annual meetings, with research presented as recently as 2025

When your regulatory challenge requires someone who was in the room when the frameworks were written and who has stayed current ever since, that is the CSI difference.

We would welcome the opportunity to show you how Larry and the broader CSI team can support your next project under FIFRA, EPA ecological risk assessment, or pesticide registration.
